Gold 22K

22K gold refers to gold with a specific purity level. International gold prices are based on the spot price of pure gold (24K) per troy ounce, then calculated for different karats. The 22K price shown here is derived from real-time international markets and quoted in US Dollars per gram.

International gold prices are determined by global commodity markets, primarily the London Bullion Market (LBMA) and COMEX futures. Prices fluctuate based on supply and demand, US dollar strength, inflation expectations, geopolitical events, and central bank policies.

Gold purity is measured in karats out of 24. 24K is pure gold (99.9%), 22K is 91.7% gold, 21K is 87.5% gold, and 18K is 75% gold. 22K offers a specific balance of purity and durability. Lower karat gold is more durable but contains less pure gold.
